Welfare je alfou a omegou

Karsit Agro hospodaří v blízkosti Dvora Králové nad Labem v obilnářské a z části v řepařské vlhčí výrobní oblasti na 4030 ha zemědělské půdy v 36 katastrálních územích, z toho je 3300 ha půdy orné. V celé oblasti jsou zastoupeny všechny druhy půd – od lehkých písčitých a písčitohlinitých půd, přes nejkvalitnější půdy po nejtěžší půdy jílovité až jíl. Tyto nejtěžší půdy jsou z většiny zatravněny a využívají se především k spásání masným skotem.

Pěstování plodin ovlivňuje historicky zaměření podniku z větší části na živočišnou výrobu, zejména chov dojného a masného skotu. Základním cílem rostlinné výroby je zajistit dostatečné množství krmivové základny pro potřeby živočišné výroby a to zejména kvalitní jetelové senáže a koncentrovanou kukuřičnou siláž pro vysokoprodukční dojnice.

Na orné půdě se pěstují především obilniny, krmné plodiny a řepka. Největší plochu zaujímá pšenice ozimá na 800 ha, ječmen ozimý na 300 ha, tritikale ozimé na zhruba 320 hektarech a ječmen jarní na přibližně 80 ha. Na třiceti hektarech se pro zabezpečení krmivové základny obory a stáje Velichovky pěstuje oves. Na přibližně 550 ha vysévají řepku.

Z krmných plodin se pěstuje kukuřice na siláž (300 ha), jetel luční (240 ha). Zbylá výměra připadá na cukrovku (100 ha), mák a hrách (120 ha).

Podle ředitele společnosti Ing. Libora Sedláčka podnik navazuje na tradici bývalého ZD Dubenec, které mívalo 1500 krav na deseti střediscích. „V roce 2009 došlo v našem podniku ke vstupu majoritního akcionáře Karsit Group SE a s tím souvisel také příliv investic. Z vazných stájí se staly volné, pro odchov telat jsme zrenovovali teletník s mléčnými automaty, postavili jsme odchovnu jalovic pro 360 kusů,“ vypočítal ředitel vylepšení z posledních let. „Pro potřebu uskladnění a sušení obilí byla postavena posklizňová linka, rozšiřovaná v letošním roce s konečnou kapacitou 10 000 tun obilí, u které se připravuje výrobna krmných směsí. Naší poslední akcí je stavba výkrmny býků, kterou jsme realizovali na sklonku minulého a začátku tohoto roku,“ dodal ještě.
